Position: Visiting Fellow in Antisemitism Studies, Indiana University Bloomington
The Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism in the Borns Jewish Studies Program at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a Visiting Fellow position beginning January 1, 2027. The appointment rund for one year with the possibility of renewal for a second time. The fellow pursues an independent research agenda in antisemitism studies, participants in the institute’s seminars, colloquia, and research workshops, and teaches one course per semester on antisemitism or a closely related subject. The fellowship is open to scholars in any discipline and using any methodological approach, including historical, sociological, psychological, legal, literary, and educational perspectives. Work addressing contemporary manifestations of antisemitism in Europe, North America, the Middle East, or online environments is particularly welcome. A PhD completed by the start of the appointment and a demonstrated research focus on antisemitism are required.
