Call for Nominations: Holocaust Studies in Translation
The Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is seeking nominations for its Holocaust Studies in Translation series, which brings recent scholarship from Eastern Europe to an English-speaking readership. The books appear open access with Cornell University Press. The series is looking for recent scholarly monographs by active scholars published in Eastern European languages. Nominations must come from someone other than the author and include an author biography or CV, a detailed description of the book covering among other things its argument and sources, a letter of nomination of no more than one page, and a PDF of the original. All materials are to be submitted in English. Authors whose works are selected for peer review will be contacted in spring 2027.
