Call for Applications: Max Weber Netzwerk Osteuropa Fellowship
The Max Weber Netzwerk Osteuropa awards research scholarships of one to three months for work in archives and libraries in the post-Soviet states, with the exception of Russia and Belarus, and in Finland. The stays can take place between January 1 and July 31, 2027. The programme is aimed at doctoral candidates and postdocs in the humanities and the social sciences who are affiliated with a university in Europe or in the South Caucasus and are pursuing a qualification project there. Possible destinations range from the Baltic states to Central Asia, and applicants may choose up to two countries. Rates follow the guidelines of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, return travel is reimbursed. Applications must include written confirmation of access to the archives concerned.
