Call for Applications: Corcoran Visiting Chair in Christian-Jewish Relations 2027-2028
Boston College and its Center for Christian-Jewish Learning invite applications for the Corcoran Visiting Chair in Christian-Jewish Relations for the academic year 2027-2028. The appointment runs for one year and can be renewed for a second. It carries a pre-tax salary of 94,500 dollars and a research budget. The holder pursues a research project on an aspect of the relationship between Christianity and Judaism, teaches or co-teaches an upper level course and creates formats for scholarly exchange, among them public lectures. Applications are welcome from all relevant disciplines. Candidates need a doctorate, a record of publication in the field and a tenured position, or retirement from one, at a university or seminary. Decisions are expected around February 1, 2027.
