Hertie Visiting Professorship, Heidelberg Univ. of Jewish Studies

Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies seeks to fill the position of the Hertie Visiting Professorship from October 2026 – 30 March 2027. This newly established position focuses on Jewish perspectives within antisemitism research and the study of contemporary Jewish life. The position is a fixed-term visiting professorship. Remuneration is in accordance with the W3 salary scale. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a one-time travel reimbursement of up to €2,000 to aid in candidate’s relocation to Heidelberg.

The Hertie Visiting Professorship is a collaborative initiative with the Hertie Foundation (Gemeinnützige Hertie Stiftung).
