Call for Applications: Virtual Writing Group in Holocaust Studies
The Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is setting up a virtual writing group for Holocaust scholars based in North America who are untenured, in contingent positions or working outside academia. The group meets monthly on Zoom for seven months, from December 11, 2026 to June 11, 2027, always on a Friday for two hours. Participants take turns circulating written work, from conference papers to chapters of a book manuscript, and give each other substantive feedback. Optional weekly co-writing sessions are also offered. A completed doctorate and a writing project based on original research are required. Participants receive a stipend of 500 dollars.
