Course: The Jewish Jesus in Art (Online), CWRU

The course will explore the works of artists such as Mark Antokolsky, Marc Chagall, Ephraim Moses Lilien, Maurycy Gottlieb, and Max Liebermann. Focus lays on how these artists portrayed Jesus’ Jewish identity, what inspired their work, and how their art responded to the social and political climate of their time. The course will be hostet by the Case Western Reserve University, CWRU. Fee for nonmenbers: $48
