Annual writing retreat for Holocaust scholars, Washington

The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum invites to an annual writing retreat for Holocaust scholars taking place in July 19-24, 2026 at Great Oak Manor on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The writing retreat is designed to provide time and space to work on original research projects and to build and sustain a community of Holocaust scholars that transcends institutional and disciplinary boundaries.
