Förderung: Ausschreibung Bildungsagenda NS-Unrecht 2026
The Stiftung Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft invites proposals for project funding under its Education Agenda NS Injustice. Financed by the German Federal Ministry of Finance, the programme has been running since 2021 and continues from 2026 to 2029. It supports projects in non-formal historical and civic education that convey the lessons of the Nazi past in a historically informed and activating manner, strengthen democratic attitudes, and counter antisemitism, antigypsyism, racism, and hostility towards LGBTIQ people. Projects are asked to make visible the fates of persecuted individuals and groups, particularly those insufficiently anchored in current commemorative practice. They work in interdisciplinary and participatory ways across a range of formats and address younger generations as well as audiences that have so far engaged little with the subject. In the current funding phase, fifty-one projects with a total volume of around eighteen million euros begin work between July and October 2026. Applicants first submit a project outline via a digital form, and online consultation sessions are offered.
