Textual Innovations in the Study of Sabbateanism, Jerusalem

The Yad Ben Zvi Institute, Jerusalem invites applications for a workshop on Textual Innovations in the Study of Sabbateanism taking place in October 4-5, 2026 in Jerusalem. The workshop will focus on close reading and collective discussion of Sabbatean and anti-Sabbatean texts that have not yet been the subject of systematic scholarly analysis. Proposals may address sources from any genre (including films, plays, artworks, or visual materials) and from any period, with preference accorded to earlier texts.
