The Institut für Judaistik at Freie Universität Berlin will host a workshop on Pictorial Representations of Sacred Writings in Visual Arts from August 10 to 12, 2026, in Berlin. The event is the third and final installment of the Sacred Writing Traditions workshop series, organized as part of the HaZen project at the institute's manuscript center. The series brings together international researchers for thematic workshops in Berlin. The program includes two days of lectures with respondents and a writing culture day featuring a writing workshop, museum visit, and concert.
