Grant: NFDI4Memory Early Career Travel Grants, NFDI4Memory
The Data Culture task area of the NFDI4Memory consortium invites applications for travel grants supporting early career researchers in the digital historical humanities. The grants fund attendance at Digital History and Digital Humanities events, including the Digital History conference, the annual conferences of ADHO and DHd, as well as workshops and summer schools. Up to eight grants of a maximum of 500 euros each are awarded. Doctoral candidates, master's students, and master's graduates with a strong connection to the digital historical humanities are eligible to apply. Researchers based in Germany may attend events worldwide, while those based outside Germany are funded for events within Germany. Recipients are expected to produce an output on the event attended, such as a blog post or social media coverage. Applications are accepted twice a year, with deadlines on February 15 and September 1. Submissions should be sent as a single merged PDF to the Institute of Historical Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
