The School of Historical, Philosophical, and Religious Studies at Arizona State University in Tempe invites applications for the Michael W. Rubinoff Assistant Teaching Professorship in Jewish Studies, beginning August 16, 2027. The full-time, non-tenure-track position is teaching-focused, with a course load of four classes per semester. The postholder contributes to the school's core curriculum, teaches courses supporting the university's humanities and interdisciplinary mission, and takes part in the intellectual and pedagogical life of Jewish Studies at ASU. A PhD in Jewish Studies, history, religious studies, or a related field by the time of appointment is required, along with a demonstrated record of successful undergraduate teaching and expertise in Jewish history or Jewish religion.
