The Department of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, invites applications for a position at the rank of full or associate professor to fill the Marsha and Jay Glazer Endowed Chair in Jewish Studies. Focus of research should be on: Rabbinic Judaism and Jewish Law in Late Antiquity or the Medieval Period, Medieval Jewish Mysticism and Philosophy, or Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Judaism.
