Fellowship: Limmud Festival PhD Engagement Programme 2026, Limmud Festival Birmingham
Limmud Festival invites applications for its PhD Engagement Programme 2026, created to build a cohort of emerging academics in Jewish studies across the UK and to bridge the gap between Jewish academic and community life through networking and mentoring. Up to five UK-based PhD students or early career researchers working in any field of Jewish studies will receive highly subsidised places for the Festival in Birmingham from December 27 to December 30, 2026. Selected candidates present a session on their research, take part in a pre-Festival training workshop, attend further sessions with peer feedback, and receive mentoring from a senior academic in their discipline. Eligible are PhD students in their second or third year and post-doctoral researchers within five years of submitting their PhD who do not hold a permanent academic position.
Deadline for applications: July 31, 2026 | DETAILS
