Call for Applications: Dr. Hermann David and Dalia Karplus Research Fellowship
The Archives of the Jewish People at the National Library of Israel are offering the Dr. Hermann David and Dalia Karplus Research Fellowship. It supports research in the archive in the fields that Hermann David Karplus worked on, among them the history of Vienna and its Jewish community and the Jews of the Habsburg Empire. The fellowship provides a grant of 3,500 euros (in two rates) and includes a residency of at least two weeks at the archive in Jerusalem. Applications are open to residents outside Israel, from masters research students and doctoral candidates to early career postdocs and independent scholars. A CV, a research proposal and one letter of recommendation are required. Travel and accommodation are not reimbursed on top of the grant.
