Call for Papers: Rutgers Rabbinics Conference 2027
The Rutgers Rabbinics Conference takes place on April 4 and 5, 2027 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Papers are welcome on any topic connected with classical rabbinic literature or with the culture and the history of Late Antiquity, as are contributions from neighbouring fields that engage with rabbinics. The two days consist of panels of short papers grouped by theme, with scholars of different ranks appearing side by side, and of two presentations of new or forthcoming books on rabbinics. The call is explicitly open to all academic ranks, from senior scholars to graduate students and to researchers without a position. Kosher meals are provided, travel and accommodation are not funded.
Deadline for proposals: December 1, 2026 | DETAILS
