Call for Applications: Leibniz Summer Fellowships in German and European History in the Twentieth Century
The Leibniz-Zentrum für Zeithistorische Forschung Potsdam awards two Leibniz Summer Fellowships for research on German and European history of the twentieth century, especially including Eastern Europe. The fellowships run for two consecutive months between April and October 2027 and carry a grant of 3.000 euros per month, which is meant to cover living and travel costs. Fellows are assigned to one of the five research departments, among them Communism and Society, and present their project in the institute research seminar. They are asked to reside in Berlin or Potsdam. Applications are open to scholars who hold a doctorate at the time of application and live outside Germany. Applications may be written in English or German.
