Call for Applications: CEES Fellowship Program for the Spring Semester 2027

The Center for Eastern European Studies at the University of Zurich offers five to six residential fellowships for the spring semester 2027. They are aimed at young and mid-career scholars in the social sciences and the humanities whose work deals with Russia, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus or Central Asia. Proposals on all topics are welcome, with particular interest this round in the South Caucasus, among other things in geopolitical trends and in transnational cultural questions. The fellowship runs for up to four months from mid-February 2027 and requires residency in Zurich.
