Call for Applications: NFDI4Memory FAIR Data Fellowships 2027
NFDI4Memory awards up to eleven FAIR Data Fellowships for 2027. Each fellowship lasts one month, is endowed with 1,500 euros and can be taken remotely. Fellows prepare research data from their own completed or nearly completed historical projects for publication, advised by specialists in research data management. The advice covers the FAIR principles, ways of structuring data and suitable repositories, and the fellowship should end with a structured and publishable dataset. Fellows report on their experience to the community, for instance in blog posts. The programme is open to anyone working historically, from masters students to staff of museums and archives, and international applications are welcome. Five institutions host the fellowships, among them the Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel.
