Conference on American Jewish Landscapes Since October 7th, Chapel Hill

The Carolina Center for Jewish Studies, Chapel Hill organizes a conference on the recent transformations in the cultural landscape of Jewish life as American Jews negotiate their identities after October 7th, 2023. Proposals representing the diverse scholarly approaches, including but not limited to sociology, anthropology, theology, and literary or aesthetic analysis are welcome. The organizers invite papers that address public engagement, Jewish education, and the field of Jewish Studies.

The conference will take place on April 19-20, 2026.
