2026 Summer Writing Group for PhD Candidates in Jewish Studies, AJS

The Association for Jewish Studies invites applications for its summer writing group for PhD candidates. The group will meet for six Wednesdays in June and July (June 17, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15, and July 22) from 11:15 AM - 12: 15 PM (2:15 - 3:15 PM EST) and the group as a whole will convene from 10:00 - 11:00 AM PST (2:00–3:00 EST) the same day. The group will explore strategies for writing, seeking mentorship and feedback, developing and staking arguments, and more. Smaller writing groups will meet to circulate drafts and to share constructive criticisms.
